Mine comes up as a USB HID as well with the switch over to the right. When its over to the left it doesn't show up at all. Going to play around tonight and see if I can get Flip to recognize it.

Also they've now changed their name to the x3Max and according to their new website the software to program the dongle will be released 10/27 so the wait wont be terrible. It would suck a lot more if I didn't already have an Xplain. :P

hmm they finally updated the x3jailbreak site and put the x3max site up it wasnt up earlier when i got my unit

One thing I noticed on the new site is they state "all games are supported"

Weren't these supposed to be out weeks ago.

Personally the only contender to a decent modchip with support is the PS3key.

I to have a sample unit came yesterday. when the x3jailbreak site first went live i joined the mailing list for updates. got an email confirming i was going to get updates. the address was sales@x3jailbreak.com. i replyed to that address saying send me a sample i will do a video for you. the reply was o.k will do.
Thought the x3jailbreak team had given up as many other clones hit the scene and the news updates stopped. I thought no more about my chip till it came yesterday. I at first thought i had a fooked unit as would not boot my ps3 into debug mode.
Then today i find the info on there site saying that chips need programing with tool released this monday.

my chip was sent by Dhl to the united kingdom

recieved mine aswell will make an video for demo unit ps3's and would this work on all versions of ps3 except from 3.50 and 3.42? ?since im on 3.40

Update: Il make the video on monday when the program is released

you need 3.41
can send you a link to a working 3.41 firmware if you need it.

what Atmel chip it use ? and this is 8Mhz or 16Mhz Oscillator ?

dont know the chip they physically removed the name by scratching it out then sharpied over it to give the black apperance i stated this already
