So make up your mind, does this version have 16kb of memory or 64kb? Plus you said it worked. So does it work or not?

EDIT: To clarify I bought the item you reviewed on the first page, that news article someone posted above my post, says that it is poor quality and there are complaints of it not working, and people should return it. You followed up saying it was a marketing strategy by eclipse I would imagine. So my question is, did I purchase the one with 64kb of memory and does the damn thing work? I bought the product from one of their distributors from the device you reviewed on the first page.

First I do not work for them, let me just point that out.

Secondly, if you read the review and understood everything you will know that AT16 was the item you could load any .hex or payload file with their upgrade program and upgrade. <--- This, they have stopped producing. Read comments on page 1.

I said it was a marketing strategy because it's simply Eclips3 team will not want to associate themselves with Eclipse team of usbjailbreak and so they have to put up something to clarify that out. Name sounds and seems similar so people might be confuse about them being the same people. That was the best way to say buy mine don't buy thiers in the marketing world. You say something and scare everyone as to why they should buy yours.

Your question about what you purchased, I do not know as I didn't sell it out to you BUT they have announced that the AT16 are no more on sale and only the AT64 so if you get the AT16 I think you can ask for a refund because that isn't what they advertised. I hardly doubt you will get AT16 though so just trash that.

If you have any more questions contact them through their email as I can only tell you what I know.

Ok thank you for clearing things up. Sorry if I came off as being a prick. I was getting worried considering I had bought it after seeing your review then seeing someone else say via the news that the thing sucks. So again I apologize if I was a bit rude.

I bought 1 today from zhuzhuchina.com for 16$US including delivery

Gonna take 2 weeks to arrive but I can wait.

I have contacted PS3USBJailbreak team and they have said that they will not offer a personal program for end users to update their devices with whatever .hex file they want. Stubbern @$$'s we should be able to program the dongle anyway we like.

Does anyone know if the standard AT64S tool from the actual chip manufacturer may work on these clone dongles? If not I guess I'll buy an actual dev board so I can flash whenever I want to.

The ps3usbjailbreak has 2 version
1: 16K flash , offical type AT16S, now which they stopped producting
2: 64K flash , offical type AT64S, now in producting


and the programming tools of AT64S(64K) version ,it get the asbestos supported,so it mean it must have 64K flash ,asbestos(45K)+bootloader(4K),
at lease 49K.

By now ,why still buy 16K or 32K version in higher price? you will lose the update soon,just because the flash size limited

I think that is the reason , why ps3usbjailbreak term canceled the 16K version(AT16S).

Well, can't say I'm surprised. They said they would deliver on a personal program and now they won't.
Well that's the deal breaker for me. I'm not buying a proprietary dongle ever again. If they stop updating their firmware package, we're screwed. Not for me thanks!
I'm so sick of all the lies and empty promises. I mean, I know its cut throat in that manufacturing business, MIB Sony lawyers watching their every move...One dongle is at the top of the heap then the next week its another.
I would like some honesty for a change...but I fear I'm asking for too much.
I'm gonna stick with my iPod touch 1g for the moment. It will always be upgradable.
When a developer board comes out with lots of memory, a nice slim case with it, fully upgradable, home brew ready, I'm buying.

End of rant...
