my pleasure if you have problems don't hesitate to send me a pm.
Got it working. I had googled for an hour before finally posting my question. I promise you I would NOT have figured this out without your help Dangwoot.
Thank you very much!
my pleasure its what im here for ^_^
Today it arrived, I ordered it in VolumeRates. I uptaded it with Flip, installed Hermes v3 and it was very easy and worked perfectly.
Anyway, I want to have a dongle with 64 kb of memory or more. Is p2chiper still working on it ? Otherwise I would have to go for a Teensy ++.
have the same problem as seytan666,cant seem to get drivers installed to program usb chip, was wondering if someone can help.Usig windows 7,disabled driver signing and still does the same thing.Tried uninstalling it in device manager then when i push the button i get usb device not recognised again. When trying to install drivers manually directing windows to driver folder i get the folder u specified doesnt contain a driver for your device and there is a atmel_usb_dfu file in there. Please help !!
your gonna wanna pick the option to chose the driver you wanna install instead of having windows just point to the folder, i think its called "let me choose the driver to install"
if you have an x64 system make sure you use those drivers and the reverse if you have a 32bit system.
went to choose driver clicked on have disk browsed to folder and it tells me if theres a driver in folder make sure its compatible with 32bit systems.
then your gonna need the 32bit drivers but i cant seem to locate them maybe you'll have better luck, search for at90usb162,
i just cant seem to track them down >.<
my device manager is now showing a libusb win32 device -AT90USB162 but when i connect the dongle i still get the driver carry on and under usb controllers i get unknown device pop up then tells me usb device not recognised, what am i doing wrong,im pullin ma hair oot here???and thanks dangwoot for your replys!!
hmm if its showing up as at90usb162 perhaps you could try the flip software and see if you can open it? if not maybe completely uninstall the device and restart then install it again, also make sure you push the button on the dongle itself after you plug it in.
