I've been following ps2chiper's work for quite some time now and was among the buyers for his first batch as well. We've been in touch since then and today morning i received my 2nd batch of chips.
Specifics first , the previous batch was based on the AT90USB162 chip while the new one is based on ATMEGA168. So now instead of Atmel FLIP you will be using HIDbootflash to program these chips.

Thats the new one on the right and the old AT90USB162 based chip on the left.
The LEDs have been solderen on correctly in these chips so they do work and turn green as soon as the JB has been completely activated.
Programming the chip was a cinch taking just a few seconds. Be sure to press the bootloadHID mode button , ie the white button first , this will install the drivers. I tested on Windows 7 x64 and drivers were not an issue at all. The mode also makes both green and red lights light up.
After loading the hex, you just need to follow the same steps as every other chipset and it works perfectly.
I think its a superb offering by ps2chiper and comes highly recommended.
