    Hi there,

ATM I'm using the (psgroove_teensy1.0.hex) file for my AVRKey and everything seems to work except for the leds not lighting up, they only work in programming mode. So what I want to know is if there is any hex files specificly made for the AVRKey.

Any help would be much appreciated, Thanks

The only review I've seen posted of the AVRKey confirms the same thing. Once programmed with teensy port, the LEDs will not work. I don't think the teensy has LEDs, so this kind of makes sense.

Perhaps someone will make a dedicated AVRKey as it becomes more popular.

The lack of LEDs doesn't really bug me all that much, though. My entertainment center already resembles an aerial nighttime view of LAX as it is.

Yes, using Teensy HEX files on AVRKey does not have LEDs working. I have confirmed this.

PS3Key has just released an open HEX of their PS3Key firmware. I have attached the file. Unfortunately, I'm at work so I can not test and probably wont be able to test until Sunday night or Monday.

This may have the LED working and I'm not sure if this includes the new Hermes v2. There was no mention of it. The v2.1 firmware update includes all of the features in PS3Key v2 and also fixes a few other minor bugs. These minor bugs could be Hermes v2 as it was released yesterday (9/30) and PS3Key updated today (10/1).

I'm pretty certain v2 included no BD support, so I've no doubt that this will as well. Is that what you're asking?

No I was referring to the new Hermes v2 which has better compatibility with games and fixes controller problems as posted in the Latest News forum/front page.

Actually, now I'm reading more and it seems that its Open Manager 1.13 that makes the compatibility better and to stick with Hermes v1

http://psx-scene.com/forums/showthread.php?t=67462 (Open Manager - Now updated to v1.17 - KaKaRoTo Support!)
