PS3max - error 8001003A

I've got a PS3max usb and everyting seems to work fine. I can open homebrew and download managers. But with all the download managers I get the same error : 8001003A - with or without disk in drive. The games pop up in the managers, they seem to open but when I look were they should mount I can see the name but no image or what so ever. When I open, I get either the error message or it will start the game in the drive. I already tried a differend hex file on the USB key and played with differend versions of managers. But the result is the same. I did everything according the books but seem to be missing something....help!

Am using PS3 Slim 120 GB _ 3.41 / PS3max - hermes 4b

PS3max ? erm never heard of that one before lol...
PS3Key or x3MAX or even P3GO but no PS3max

Did you try plugging it in on your computer before it malfunctioned?

The key is working fine, all homebrew is working fine. So that's not the problem. The problem is that no back up game will start, all give me the same error message.
And yeah, sorry it's a x3max.
I am doing everything according to the numerous tutorials around and not new at this, but somehow I am missing something.

Have you played any backup before ? i mean did any of the backup worked perfectly
or it never worked ?

No back up worked so far. They seem to be copied with out any problems to my HD, but once I want to play, I get this error message. The game is also not correctly mounted, I can see the name come up but not the music and the background which normally would happen.
