its not the fact that its a sony copy device, its the fact that the usb device should be able to be used with other hex codes, which means it doesnt need to be used just for sony..

i bought 3 ps3key of course i tried to update it since i've done this thread and of course it doesn"t work.
I'am actually using my phone to profit from the latest payload but everyone here don't have the same oportunity/possibility so yes i would complain for their lack of updates since they promise to keep us updated ! Yes i would complain that i can"t flash my ps3key to an avrkey by using flip like they advertise for all their customers...
I'am not a sheep to follow anyone mind when i bought this device i looked for the pros and cons before getting it and choose it because of those promise.
I was one of the first on psx scene to encourage people to get this device when they became available for sell because of all the possibilities they talked about in their reviews...

If they change their rythm of updates or updater tools to allow custom made/ personal update and reply more to their customer on their support... i will probably make a different thread saying how good is the ps3key ! I'am not judging the device or resellers here i'am judging the people of ps3key team behind this project who takes customers for shit for the moment and don't give us any other possibilities...

I can't erase ps3key bootloader so i must wait for new update.

BB01 replied to me, and well as we are all waiting for them to show how.

there is a $45 dollar hardware solution that it allows you to erase the bootloader and reprogram them. its for all Atemel IC. its acalled an ISP.

I am sure they were waiting until a proper fix was out, which there is now as I am using it on my Ipod Video

Why make a bunch of updates.

Give them time and I am sure a new update will be out.

you see the wire connecting the chip to the 'thing' not savy when it comes to this...what if we do that with the ps3key, in the avrkeys they have that wire connecting the two.

dont think that would work, as the bootloader is still on the chip & that means the chip needs to be flashed..
