PS3KEY Now answered our request concerning UPDATES!

After promising to keep us updated, It's been more than a week now that PS3KEY team did their last update 2.3 to fix their previous update who fails... At first they were doing a great job keeping us updated but nothing since this fix who took five days to comes out... Since then they didn't improved their product at all. The last addition was the integration of peek poke (on 1st october) and now we are screwed because of the uncompatibility with all the manager who requires Hermes 3.0 Payload and higher to works ...
I did write to them on PS3Key Feedback five or six times since then but no replies, ignoring my request ... So i decided to do this post to know if someone got some info from them about the update status?
PS3key is actually in version 2.3 (~~psgroove 1.1 hermes)
Actually we need Hermes V3 + Patch of Waninkoko + the Fix Update by math + Fix Update by Hermes
I would love to see an updater who could modify hex files to upd files keeping the possibility to downgrade to ps3key version if needed but they didn't make it available... :rant:
After this ps3key episode and the psfreedom for HTC HD who couldn't be updated I've decided of course to buy a minimus avr (that's probably better than an avrkey) and tell people around me to do the same. This time for sure i would keep my ps3 updated with the latest works from the scene.:cool:

Edit: Answer on october 16, 00.57 AM GMT-5 - Like i said I Mailed and warned them yesterday (i'am not going to post what i wrote to them) and finally got a clear answer. I got it finally by someone who seems to be in charge of the product update:

And for me it's good enough for now... I will see from the next update if they could keep a good rythm and act in their favor or not depending on this.

Ok we're on Monday now and it's not the week end anymore...
So this guy in charge of the updates screwing with me or he changed his mind considering all the changes that occured this weekend concerning payloads... (Hermes v4 & PL3 v3)
Today i'am busy with work and updating my phone so i'll probably act tomorrow if nothing shows up..

Update made for Hermes V3 Payload...

The PS3Key update system was designed to protect end users from bricking chips with bad updates. A word of caution is therefore necessary here. Generic AVR-based dongles and SiliconLabs-based PS3Keys are safer for experimenting with custom updates.
If you wish to use the product as advertised we strongly suggest you do not experiment with custom firmware unless you have some AVR experience and an AVR programmer on hand just in case.
We are now working on modularising the code and will release an update incorporating the "Hermes v4" features soon. We will also make source code and material for generating custom updates available soon. While compiling custom updates might add bleeding-edge features not yet available in the official PS3Key, it is not something we recommend for inexperienced users. Preferably, please be patient and trust us to deliver a safe update solution for you. It might take a little longer than the other versions available on the web, but you'll have the piece of mind that you're covered by our warranty in the unlikely event that something does go wrong.
Note: I just flashed my device with ATMEL update UPD and it works fine like usual Run Updater v1.1 => disconnect / connect 4 times > load upd file > flash
I just updated bioshock to try and it works fine :D
Confirmed it's HERMES V3 with all patch included :)

It seems that this version freeze and may not be compatible with V3. Please Don't install it.
