PS3Key not updating!

Hello there everyone, maybe someone else is having the same problem and came up with a solution.

I got my PS3Key today, and it refuses to update. I get both leds turned on, but the "update now" button is greyed out no matter what.

I am on windows 7 32bit.

Any ideas?

hi, try this:

rightclick on the ps3keyupdate.exe

properties

compatibility mode, windows xp sp2

although it seemed to be working it actually wasnt. took it off, put new sticky tape, just updated. lets see if it works now... come back to you in a few mins

No leds turning on or off.. nothing seems to be happening.. any ideas?

put the chip out of the case, leave the tape, and insert it without case in ur pc, whats doin then?

in the pc it seems to be working fine... no leds on ps3 though

wtf? is it on slot 1 of ps3? the left one? did u already make the update, or was the dongle updating and u took it out of the console???

Tried both usb slots of the ps3, and no i didnt disconnect it while it was updating. I think it might be a connection problem?

maybe the dongle is dead =/

Was there any led burning when you first put it in the ps3? Or did you try to update it right away?
