PS3Key need help, just recieved! –

Hey guys.
Just recieved my PS3key yesturday in the mail.
From what I've seen it looks like the real deal and included that "yellow sticker" that I registered online to see it is genuine. My question is once I plug it into my Windows 7 64bit OS laptop should I see any LEDs working in the back? My laptop doesn't even detect the hardware plugged into it. I tested it via PS3 as well and still no LEDs
Please tell me I don't have a broken one? I'm not sure of its chipset, I don't want to remove the shell on the USB dongle if I have to return it. heeeeellllllppppp

You will not anything in your PC.
You make the standard procedure ( close the power, press power and eject ) in your PS3 and you are sure is not working ?

I won't see anything in my PC? Not even the lights on the USB stick? When connecting to the PS3 (slim) I remove power cord, insert PS3key into USB port in front, replug power cord, press power button on front then immediately press eject button, no LED indication and no install package under games even

Did you flash it with a hex file yet? I believe some places were shipping these blank for legal reasons.

I think he is worried about updating it, since his comp doesn't recognize the device.

See that's the thing, I have the hex file (assuming its ATmega32U2 chip since I'm not sure) but when plugging it into my PC to flash it my PC appears to not see the USB dongle in device manager, I install the USB drivers that are included with the Flip software as a legacy drive (Windows 7) and the driver shows but when opening Flip, and opening the USB, it says that it can't open USB. I read something about a DFU mode? I don't see a switch or button on the dongle so I assume just plug and flash.

I am not quite sure about PS3key, but just open the case.. I think its just a clipped? You normally should have some button for DFUmode..

I'm very iffy on opening it, I tried bending the clips, kinda lame I can't do it lmao
I did find this "s2.kimag.es/share/52536583.jpg" in which it shows the insides for the PS3key from someone at GBATemp.net review "gbatemp.net/t255243-ps3key-review?&st=0"
It doesn't seem to have a button on it >_<
