Hello what has ps3key owners done to their ps3 lately? Mine is the original ps3 60 gb model firmware 3.41...ps3key Atmel. I own a ps3key, but the people who made it haven't done much since December of last year. They have been slacking off and no new details or advice from them. How I do upgrade to latest firmware and play online games again. I have super street fighter 4 purchased last year, would like to update it now. Any advice to get started, links?
There has been too many updates from ps3. Disables many unlicensed USB controllers. I've heard of lvl 2 app, but don't know much. I heard about bluray movies not working. I've heard about the hard drive upgrade is denied by sony security measures. I know I'm repeating the same sentence, sorry. I just had not done anything to ps3 in long time.
If you have ps3key and is owner of 60gb ps3 what have to it so I can at least update mine. links/help/advice. I don't want my ps3 sitting in dust.

Once CFW came out, most dongle retailers quit doing any updates, as no one wanted to use dongles anymore.
The Cobra USB dongle I think is the only one still be updated
Cobra USB - Ultimate PS3 USB solution! - Product
To play online games, you would have to update to latest OFW, or use XLINK KAI posted here
http://psx-scene.com/forums/f189/new...ink-kai-80329/ (New PSN Solution ( Private PSN ) called Xlink KAI !!)
YOu would have to read up on that, as I don't follow it and don't know how up too date it is.
I still use the PS3 key on my one PS3, and play my backups using Rogero 8.4 with no issues. I also play quite a few emulators with no issue.
You can update games, just be careful of the updates for 3.6x firmwares. The game then won't work, but you only need to delete GAME DATA to get it working again.
Updating games is not the same as updating firmware, thats a separate process
As for updating the hard drive on 3.41, Sony released an update to the update to fix that issue, so you could update your hard drive.
I also heard with 3.56, the same issue occurred again, stopping users from upgrading their hdd, but I think in 3.60 it was fixed again.
If you check the news out once in awhile you will see there a couple projects on the go for newer firmwares etc.
Hope that answers some of your questions.
