Hello!

Is it possible yet, to install homebrew on firmware 3.55 and play games from a external hdd? Or internal hdd?

I've got the Ps3key.

This jailbreak technique for PS 3 Firmware 3.55 seems to be based on PS 3 root keys released by Geohot this week and on the exploit found by a small group of German hacker called fail0verflow

In other words, PS3Key no longer supports PS3 anymore. They only copied everything from others work to make a profit.

You did blow $40 but you didn't mess up your system. Just install a 3.55 CFW.
