    the PS3key blinks RED and LIGHT BLUE and bunch of times before it turn DARKER Blue, and then it turns on properly and it works as I can see Install Package Files and App_HOME

    I was just wondering if that is NORMAL??????

    Cuz i dont want it to break it that is a problem

    it's normal after update to 3.0.

    That is normal. If it goes fully blue then you shouldn't worry, it's working fine. This started happening at FW v2.3, so not to worry.
    Original PS3 + Slim PS3 - 3.41OFW - 640/320GB - 3 DualShock 3 Controllers - PS3 Remote - PS3 Keypad - x2 Move Controllers/1 Navigation - Jailbroken - x3 PS3Key v4.0 - Maximus AVR USB.

    Yeah, FW v2.3+ does a little disco (as I like to call it) before the light goes fully blue

    mine used to alternate, but once I replaced the internal hdd and started from scratch it just goes from purple to blue

    wonder what it will do with 4.2
