everybody simply has to wait -- most likely for the open source -- psjailbreak have done a great job -- every one else just either taking their time or waiting for an open source

I dont trust any more, what resellers of the PS3-Key say what the Key will be able to do in the feature. Before the PS3-Key was sent to the people, they told that it will be possible to flash the Key with .hex files. After people realized, that is not possible to flash .hex files, the offical PS3-Key Crew told their customers, that they newer promised them, that it will be possible.

So, the resellers can tell the customers what they want (hex-files, erasing PS3Key-bootloader to get a developer board, downgrade etc.), to get more customers, and the offical-team can then tell the people, that this future function was never an offical promise of the team. Clever people.

I consider myself an intelligent person, but purchasing this dongle is the worst decision I could have made.

My only real problem with this Key is, that the Team don´t give us a .hex converter.

We have received many emails regarding "rumours" of a PS3Key downgrader capable of downgrading PS3 firmware from v3.50 to v3.41 using the "JIG" method. We can confirm that those ruomors are indeed true! Stay tuned for more news in the next few days!

But if they really have the possiblility to downgrade, why are they waiting? A lot of people are now purchasing the E3-Card Reader, which is cheaper and has more functions.

Maybe psjailbreak (or someone else) are selling the masterkey for some bucks to every teams who wants it.

Certainly expensive for a few bytes, but worth it when you know your dongles will sell much better.
