Ok, I'm having some problems updating my PS3Key now.

Previously, I was able to run a FW update to 1.2 on it.

Now, whenever I plug it in and it enters "program mode" (where the blue & red LED come on), my computer spits out that it doesn't recognize it. I loaded up the Install software but the "Update Now" icon doesn't light up.

I thought it was my computer so I tried it on my laptop, but same thing.

Although the PS3Key website doesn't say drivers are needed, I went and downloaded/installed the Atmel 3.4.2 software. No dice.

I tried pulling the PS3Key in/out of my computer quite a few times, each time it still enters "program mode" but my computer still doesn't recognize it.

I'm running XP with Service Pack 2.

Anyone run into similar problems and solved it?

Found my answer. I just kept plugging the thing in/out of my computer repeatedly until the "Update Now" icon finally lighted up.

The 3 times in 10 secs seems to be rule of thumb, but obviously doesn't work every time.
