This is the error I get whenever I install any debug firmware.

You are trying to run debug firmware with a jailbreak?

You shouldn't need to if it's debug, and as evilsperm said, the offsets are probably fuxored. You should not have the dongle in, and just turn it on like normal.

I have a phat 4usb here, and another on the way (bricked eBay purchase). I'd love to get them both rolling with debug firmware. No more dongles or messy power up sequences.

Does it flash back to retail OK with the service jig?

Yep it flashes back fine.
Also, with or without the jailbreak it does the same, I just tried that to see if it would enable the debug mode.

OK... interesting. Sounds like it needs to be a 4usb model, or maybe even have full PS2 h/w compatibility.

I think it would be awesome if someone where to upload a 3.41 debug fw dump, or 3.15, but eh, a man can dream, can't he?

just decrypt the leaked 3.41 debug and youll have the dev_flash =)
youll need to use chokolo's payload to do it.

Any suggestions on how it works?
And I assume you need the self decrypter payload?
