ok, have the red box that says factory service mode, now will the system stay as a retail 3.41 when I power down and back on with the Lv2diag.self FILE 2?

update:ok got it to a retail unit. however when i tried it the second time, everything worked normal, it auto shut off every time like it was supposed to. i did not have to wait at the green blink light. thanks for the info mark, you rock! oh, fyi I would probable let people now they still need to cold boot the same way for other payloads in order to make this work.

I have a full set of debug options including "install pkg file" and "/app/home/PS3_GAME/"
Also under "Settings" I have all debug options.

This is front page news. Let Gary know...

/Sorry for the drool, salivating at the possibility of having a decent dev console to work with
Working hard on UberCFW, incorporating NTFS, sub-free NetFlix and Blockbuster, PSN cheat system with built-in swearbot and MAC-spoofing, Adding MKV, RAM and BIK movie support, and Xbox360 emu*.

:::sigh::: none on eBay right now. I need to find some con artist who wants to rip me off by selling me one for $100.

Once people realize what they are sitting on, all bets are off on getting them at a reasonable price. Kiosk units should only be converted to debug units... far more valuable than a simple retail box.

I wonder if it will upgrade to 3.50 debug?

That was installed on an old retail unit with a mis-matched BD board.
I have heaps of old PS3's laying around in bits for just such tests

My next wish is to figure out how to get the drives to pair with the MB.
Maybe Graf will unlock the area where that key is stored and work out how to decypt it.

That debug conversion was from a retail console, not a kiosk console?

I had read in the other forum that 3.41 wasn't working on retail.

Do you have the log file?
