hi. this is my first post so go easy on me :D
as above i have the ps3key and i have updated it to the v4.0 i also have open manager version 2.0(i think) as my backup manager. when i go to load my F1 game everything works fine then i get the dreaded no controller fault.
should this still happen with v4.0? do i need to do a patch or anything?
sorry if this has all been covered before in these forums. i always was shite at doing searches ;)
any help would be greatly appreciated.

Use the latest Open Manager from this thread:

latest is 1.17.2 as of this writing. Once opened, press the "R2" trigger to switch from 'Normal' mode to "Patched" mode.
This will allow you to play with the controller fix. Hope this helps!
I dont think you need Patched Mode from any manager if you use Hermes V4b payload.
Just try some other manager in Normal mode and report back if is working.

another question, can i just put the open manager folders on my external or do i have to create the pkg file?
and i'm guessing you knew i'd ask this next bit:D how the hell do you create a pkg file if i have to?

right. i tried the original backup manager and no luck. just stuck on the loading screen.
also the manager i was using was open manager v2.0
The pkg file i have is as follows. UPOOO1-GAIA01985_7679866932773369.PKG
this one didn't work for me whether i used patch mode or not. at least it got further than the original backup manager though.

I can also confirm that the game works fine for me using the newest version of open manager saved internally. I'm using a old sixaxis non- dualshock controller if that makes a difference.
get newest gaia manager it should tell u what payload your using if it v4 u r good to go
well guys it seems like my key isn't updating properly. i contacted the key team and got this back
"You will find the FW in the index.htm file after the update"
i've got no idea what this is! how do i find the index.htm file?
i also got an email from the key team stating a small number of keys have bootloader issues. can this be what is wrong with my one? its just they give out a range of serials this is affecting and mine's doesn't fall in this range.
