Copyable PS3KEY? –
Can PS3KEY be somehow copyable to another USB or something like that?
And if not, somebody knows which PS3 jailbreak can be?
I heard someting about PSgroove, but I need some kind of USB dash board ... somebody know which one exactly do I need?
PS3Key is a USB jailbreak device, its hardware. You can get a copy of the firmware but it doesn't do anything without the hardware component of it. You can't turn just any USB drive into one.
You would need an AVR USB device to use PSgroove or one of the devices PSFreedom is ported to if you want to JB your PS3.
So, if I had AVR USB device, could I turn just about any USB to jailbreak?
And thank you VERY MUCH for your answer.
No, that is what he is saying. The jailbreak dongles look like standard USB devices, but instead of having flash ROM inside they actually have a microcontroller inside that allows for communication between the device and the PS3. Standard USB devices cannot achieve this. Hope this helps.
Happy to help but no, you would have one device that would be able to jailbreak a PS3. PSGroove would be installed to the AVR device only.
