How do you tell which update you are supposed to use with your PS3 key ? I can't find any info on their site that shows how to tell which version you have or which update to use.

nvm, I got it - I didn't notice it right away but now I see the information on the PS3 key site next to my serial number after it was registered.

I wish that there was faster / better way to find this out before needlessly f*cking 'round with that retched thing for Hours on end / searching the Internet as to why this thing refuesed to go in to Bootloader / Update mode.

So out of intrest, do these new Chips allow One to try the PSGroove stuff, thuss breaking the PS3Key stuff AFAIK, and then allow me to Firmware again latter on.
Since there is no need for a Update Program and the "Firmware.bin" File could just be draged and droped?

Yes on the Silabs based devices the update process is just drag and drop of the FIRMWARE.BIN
(eventually you need to delete it first then copy over, depends on O/S being used)
