Just wanted to let you know Version 3 is now live at their website. And that it says: A general update based on the Hermes v3 payload to add the associated features.
Also they have now also a new hardware model with different chipset:

i am using this with the gaia rc9 and i can play games without a disc but cannot update the games without them crashing. is this happening for everyone else
So will this update fix issues with f1 and nba 2k11 without me having to load an opensource backup manager?
Sorry for the noob question. Just did not know if I should expect improved compatibility by only applying this update, or if I have to load a different backup manager, hacks, etc.

Guys its basically the same as hermes v3, your better of flashing the ps3key and updating it to V4B.
