Unlock ps3 game save region

Hey don't know if anyone knows about this so ill post it anyway. I have seen quite a few people asking about game saves and will it work with their copy of a game as for some strange reason sony love making 5 diffrent copies of the same game... strange i think.

Anyway what you do is open up PARAM.SFO in your save with a hex editor change the game ID to the game ID of your copy of the game.

Then go back to SAVEDATA and there should be a folder with the original game ID in it change that as well and it should work fine. Well iv tested it with Fallout 3 and it works great.

I remember doing this with PSX game saves over 10 years ago

I tried this with Backbreaker and it doesn't work. When i try to copy the save from the USB stick to the PS3 it says that the file is damaged.
