Sacred 2 Offline Trading?

Well with no ability to go online anymore there's no way to verify Sacred 2 saves and thus no way to trade between 2 players. Has anybody found a way around this maybe through editing the save files? I have no experience so obviously I wouldn't know where to start other than to throw the saves into a Hex editor and hope by some miracle there's in big letters Verified/Trading = false/0 which I think isn't going to happen.

Anyway yeah if anybody knows a way around this or is interested in figuring it out then please do because it's frustrating not being able to trade with my brothers especially since all the useful loot seems to go to the person who doesn't need it.
