The people who hack these codes do it for free for the benefit of all. These people who want to turn profit on it are nothing more than scammers no matter what they say.
Today, ps3usercheat has updated their database with the new Marvel v Capcom 3 code I was talking about. I'd like to point out that while Codefreak is a respectable device with a team that makes their own codes for their customers. Ps3usercheat is not respectable in the least. They have stolen Codefreak's design as well as the code patterns from codemasters-project.net. They do no work themselves and are making money off of others hard work.
Since ps3usercheat's inception they have been stealing the codes from codemasters-project.net. They continue to do so. The hackers there are thinking of quitting altogether to starve ps3usercheat's team of codes they can steal. The hackers who do this for free want only one thing. Credit for their work. They hack so everyone can use these codes for their personal use. They do not care if everyone in the world uses their work, as long as ppl know where it come from.
You guys can do this yourself without buying their cheap rip off. There are three things you need and they are packaged separately to keep sony from breathing down anyone's neck.
You need ps3tools which ppl might already be familiar with, ps3keys which can be googled, and cmp auto tools which can be found at
Codemasters Project
You can also find a video tutorial there on making packages. The latest version of cmp auto tools will let you make GD packages which are like game update patches. This offers better compatability with games.
If you're not technically inclined, you can request packages there also. We will try to get them made. As of right now, some code patterns will remain hidden to try and delay them from being stolen. But there will still be packages made with them that will be available for download.
I realize there is a ps3usercheat banner on this site. But all I've stated is true. Their updates have constantly coincided with released codes from CMP. Until they give credit to the hackers they get their codes from, they will be nothing more than thieves.

It's a shame, they really should give credit where credit is due.

well...knowing that the fabulous "ps3break team" is behind the device the only thing i can say is that i'm not surprised
but still hope that they give the credits to the people that really deserves (no surprises here as well)

I'm not surprised. Infact it's totally obvious that they have been stealing. Infact they will continue to. I really don't see a way to stop it unless we creatr a petition to go after them with? I don't know...I'd love to fight back against them too

It's just been found out that they are offering, "tokens" to users who upload codes. The "tokens" can them be used to purchase some tech like ipods and such. So they are making other people do their dirty work for them.
As far as a competitor, E3 seems to be doing the same thing. Codefreak is the only team who comes up with their own codes. Some of Codefreak's team have been on friendly terms with codemasters-project since the PS2 days. If Codefreak will ever port their device for western audiences, I think they would work with the hackers here.
As of right now, code patterns are being censored. Only modded eboot packages are being released for most games. This won't stop their theft, but it will make it more difficult for them to get the codes out of them. Actually if might stop them, b/c I'm not sure they are even smart enough to get the codes out of the packages on their own. They'll have to "pay" someone else to get them out for them probably.
Everyone just be sure not to buy their device and support their exploitation of free work. There's a new tutorial posted on package making at CMP. Hopefully it will help spread the knowledge of these free tools and how to use them.

Today at codemasters-project.net, Skiller posted a Update/Hacking Timeline in the News Section. Proof that ps3userthief has stolen a large amount of free codes to sell their product.
Skiller has posted Proof by way of posting the release dates that coincide and also by tricking the thieves into posting non-working codes.
Please visit Codemasters Project-News-Bunch of Thieves to read the full post and for the complete list of stolen codes compiled so far. And for predictions on what codes they will steal next.
