This new version comes with the added support for English language as well as other languages.

- Fixed the error in the launch of rip displaying a line of code.

Thanks for this. As far as we know ripping other languages wont cause any problems? I can't see why it would but i think ripping of videos is something i will steer clear of for now.

no there isn't any problem as long as you don't trigger them ingame (don't know what happens if you try to watch one you deleted and it can't find it). but if you want to be on the safe side you can just replace the videos with dummy files...

We reported earlier that a Spanish game ripper utility had surfaced on the web. Now a new version arrives, from Spanish PS3/PSP developer Lande. He has just released, via the website Elotrolado, version 3.0 of his PS3 Game Ripper. The app does exactly what it sounds like, it rips unnecessary game files. Allowing you remove languages you know you won’t use and other files. It will automatically remove the update folder for you as soon as you load a game. However, be smart about what you remove. If you want to remove languages you don’t want to use, make sure it says, for example FR for French or IT for Italian. Some games do not clarify what language is used, therefore you shouldn’t remove anything.

the idea of shrinkin the game size is NOT to rip the video out!

you are ment to reduce quality of the video and therefore shrinking the size of video files

i used to do this with RIP KITS for PSP... made a few of those

Just wanted to mention something with this. I used this prog (v2.0) on Dead Rising 2 to test it. I removed all language files using the ripper. When I uploaded the game to my PS3, it ran ok - but ALL TEXT was gone. Even at the start screen, "start game" "load" etc everything was gone.,

So you can't really just go in and say 'remove all' in the language section, because it will take out everything including English. You have to go in and select what languages you want deleted manually. Since this is an early program (and it works great, btw - I'm not knocking it at all), it's understandable that you still have to do that manually.

It'd be nice though, for future versions to be able to select specific languages. Like maybe have the Ripper have language 'sections'. One for French, Italian, Spanish, English, etc. That way you just select which sections you want ripped, and then rip them.

Cool program though.
