PS3 FFXIII Mods?
Is there anyone who knows what they're doing that can take a look at modding FFXIII?
My main problem is that I'm at Chapter 11 (I think, I stopped playing because I didn't want to grind for 5 days), and don't feel like grinding.
Could there be a money, XP, infinite health mod that could be switched on then removed once passed this area? (xp and money would stay of course)
Been searching around and found some mods for the XBOX360 version.
There's a magic damage mod and a gil mod.
If those could be incorporated into the PS3 version then remove the magic damage mod once lvled up and past this point that would be exactly what I'm looking for.
I can post my saved game soon since it'll probably be required.
AFAIK there is some encryption on the save file you can't pass. Of course, with the jailbreak there might be some way to bypass it but who cares, the game is a waste of $60 and bandwidth.
Sorry. Cloud isn't in FFXIII, but you should've known he wouldn't be after FF VIII-XII. But just because Cloud isn't in it (or whatever other reason you have decided to not like FFXIII for), doesn't mean its a waste of $60 or bandwidth. And whether or not you have the sophistication to appreciate FFXIII, there are plenty of people who can. And we do care about game modding. I would love a gil mod. An NCU run minus the grindfest: That would be awesome.

Its a shame this detail is overlooked by both the devs who created the game and the guide writers. This is a flaw in game design. Your mini-map tells you which way you ultimately will end up going but without a storyline explanation of why you are heading that way yet. It is intended that a player would not know where to go yet and would ultimately start doing missions in the hopes of it triggering the storyline to continue. Sure enough as you follow the missions, you are lead into the Yaschas Massif. The Yaschas Massif is easy enough to play through right when you land on Pulse and will keep you from needing to grind. Also there are missable cutscenes which explain why you are heading towards your destination.

In this respect all of the early missions are linear. Doing missions 1-7 will make it so you won't miss any cutscenes, you'll fully explore the Yaschas Massif and you'll be strong enough to bypass any grinding (assuming you properly know how to employ strategy in your paradigms such as the use of Sentinels). Hopefully this will solve your grinding problem and if it doesn't, I hope you can find yourself a game mod.
After you beat the chapter 11 boss, do the growth egg mission before starting chapter 12. It will give you twice as much cp per fight. Also, make sure you fix Bhakti. The rewards are definitely worth it at this point in the game, if you have taken at least 10,000 steps on pulse. Sell the rewards for over half a million gil. Those are about the only big advantages I can help you with.
Hah! Thanks guys!
I'll probably start playing again in the next few days because of your explanations.
