NFS HP - PS3 3.55 geohot - WORKED, but have few questions....

STRANGE !!

I edited EBOOT according to the manual version.

and I changed the path to: dev_hdd0/NFSHPPS3/USRDIR

all I had is black screen. I could only get back to XMB.

my 13 MB EBOOT installed to:

dev_hdd0/game/BLES00949/USRDIR

and I had all my USRDIR files in:

dev_hdd0/NFSHPPS3/USRDIR

as I said. BLACK SCREEN.


What I did was moving all the files from
dev_hdd0/NFSHPPS3/USRDIR
to
dev_hdd0/game/BLES00949/USRDIR

and it all worked !!

I don't know how is it possible if I changed path in the EBOOT file :|

yea the game folder is your best bet... but thats how we learn, at least ya figured it out for your self.

But I don't know how you got it to work using egohot's CFW.

That would take too many characters, because there was:

/dev_bdvd/PS3_GAME/

then I should change it to:

/dev_usb000/GAMEZ/
or
/dev_usb000/GAMEZ/BLES00949/

i'm thinking there's got to be more than just put it in the folder GAMEZ on an USB hdd...
can anyone confirm this working? i'll test when i can, but that might not be for a while.

Well.. I have GOW 1 & 2 original (bought before JB).... but I'll have GOW 3 soon.... today I want to try GT5 but I'm stuck !! It's over 19 GB one file, so I can't copy it to my FAT32 USB HDD :/

I guess that only FTP will save me...
