Need help with Unreal Tournament 3 Custom Texture Modding –
I've been trying to figure out how to build my own custom character mods for Unreal Tournament 3 on the ps3 and have had no luck, so far.
I tried to find a way to extract the contents of USERDATA JAM files for character mods other people have made for the ps3 to see what contents I need to build my own. But, I have not found any tools to extract these files.
I tried taking mods I have on my PC Version and cooking them for the ps3 by placing the ini and upk files in my documents\my games\unreal tournament 3\utgame\mods\ps3\"modname" folder. I have even tried extracting the upk files and putting the extracted files from the upk to that folder and then cooking with no luck.
I found tfc file for textures in game data for character mods I have put in (created by other users). But, cannot find anything to tell me about how to edit this type of file.
I'm mainly looking to replace replace textures and meshes for characters. The only documentation I've found for this is very vague when it comes to the ps3 end of it.
I would very much appreciate it, if anyone knows of a guide on this process or could point me in the right direction on how to go about this.
