Hey guys! I was finally able to get roster updates for sports games to work by transferring them to the PS3 from PC(FTP). One game that I don't know about this method is for NCAA 11. I'm talking about the tuner updates that you get online with the EA Online Pass.

We can't get on PSN to gain access to the Online Pass with jailbreak mode. There is a 7-day trial for the Online Pass. You can get the tuner updates from this trial period but if we can't get on PSN then it's not possible.

The only way right now you can get files to work after FTP is to match the file names to what you're transferring. The names need to match exactly and you over-write all files except the PARAM.SFO file. You skip over that file but over-write the rest. You create a save on your HDD to match what you have as an offline save on PC.

This works with all the sports games that I've tried. We still need a file resigner badly for the PS3. This will help a lot with getting files working better with our profiles on PS3.

I guess the only way to get the tuner updates to work via FTP is to update to 3.55 and get access to PSN. Download and install a tuner update so you have one on your HDD. You can then take an offline tuner update and just over-write all the files except the PARAM.SFO file again.

Having said all that, if you update to 3.55 and get the tuner update then you have the latest one anyhow and you wouldn't need to take an offline save to replace. Is there any way around this with the FTP route? I mean needing to update the firmware to 3.55 to get on PSN and then downgrade back for jailbreak? I'm speaking just for this game only and specifically about the tuner update.

This tuner update feature is a big need with gameplay additions and it's needed for a much more enjoyable college football experience. It's not the same as the game patches. It's more detailed! Thanks!
