Mortal kombat 9 1.40 update and erro

I accidentally update the mortal kombat 1.40 patch, so I deleted the same game data and the game and re ripped my game. When I try to boot the game. It says I need to upgrade to 3.60 to be able to play. Anybody know a work around?

If you deleted the game data it will not ask you to update to 3.60. To get rid of the 1.04 game update. You need to go to game data utility under games on your xmb. Then delete the game data for that game. When you play the game again after, you have done this, simply say no the the game update, and play the game.
