Madden Roster Update Using PS3 FTP

Hey all,

I was able to update Madden 11's rosters post-PSGroove using the FTP App that was released.

Though I wasn't able to go into Madden's load/save screen and load a new roster file that I dropped in through FTP, when I dropped the new rosters (which were in a folder named 'BLES00916-ROSTER-CUSTOM') into dev_hdd0/home/00000003/savedata/ - the rosters just updated on their own.

If someone wants to PM me a 1.02 madden 11 patch update, I'll try to get it loaded as well.

Where did u get the rosters from? i want madden 11 but i would like to have the roster updates.

Hey everyone - just PM me to grab the rosters - I'd rather do that than post a link that may or may not go down in the future.

Also, be sure to say whether you've got the EU or USA version of the game.

Operation Sports is a great site to check and/or beg for roster updates, heh.

Did you just drop the entire folder (BLES00916-ROSTER-CUSTOM) into your home dir savedate folder without renaming it?

Yes I just dropped them in. Like I said, I wasn't able to load them from the file management screen, once I dropped them in, the rosters just updated - ie - Leinart on Houston etc...

the only folder i have is ..../00000001/savedata/ instead of .../00000003/savedata/ and the rosters wont load from there. what gives?

anyone figure out what to do if the 000000003 folder is not found and only the 00000001?

The numbered folders represent users on your PS3.. if you only have 1 user, you'll likely only see 1 numbered folder.

gotcha. still didnt update my rosters, dropped the file where it was supposed to go, start franchise and they don't appear to be updated. Is the file above the most current, id really like to get Clayton n Troy Smith off the Ravens!
