Little big planet 2 modding

is there anyway to use mods on lbp 2? like in call of duty games using modded updates with mod menus. i been playing this game for a while now and it has really good potential to be modded, like using create objects on pod or in play mode, using dlc costumes you do not own, etc. some of these stuff was avaible by doing glitches, but they been patched now and then, i would do this my self if i cud but im not good doing that kind of stuff, so please is there any mods for this game? and if they are not, some one might be interested on doing this? im kinda trying to wake up the interest on this game for developers
