Summary: Using comgenie to transfer files for modding games causes mods not to work. Using multiman to transfer files for modding games makes mods work perfectly. My 3 proofs:

    1. Many times I tried getting mods to work for oblivion, but they never worked. Out of nowhere I used multiman to transfer the files, and it worked. I was baffled, I erased everything and tried again, but I couldn't get it working again. I tried multiman again, and it worked again. I then tried comgenie, and it didn't work. Tried multiman again, and things worked perfectly.

    2. Even far more times I tried getting mods for nazi zombies on call of duty 5 world at war to work, and all I ever got was some unlocalized error. I used multiman to transfer the patch.ff file, and it worked perfectly. Tried with comgenie, got the unlocalized error stuff that did nothing. Used multiman to transfer the file, and it worked perfectly.

    3. I never managed to get mods to work for Bioshock 2. I just tried transferring the files using multiman today, and the mods worked perfectly.

Since I noticed that, I have entirely stopped using comgenie, because it is doing something wrong. Stick with multiman for file transferring or whatever method you have. If you have tried modding a game and it didn't work even though it seemed to work for everyone else, try multiman to transfer the files. I've deleted comgenie today considering the endless frustration it has caused me. This note should be stickied or something everywhere where people modify PS3 games.

Yea, I figured this out whenever the 3.55 keys came out and there were only a couple of signed 3.55 Geohot home brew. Everyone was waiting for BlackB0x(FTP) to be signed to transfer MW2 patches but instead their only option was to wait, because Comgeie never worked that well. But that's a real old piece of junk back from the Dongle days. Use multiman for all your transferring needs

This really should be a stickied note or something. It definitely wasn't obvious to me, and I've seen different sites where people have had the exact same problem but they never knew it was comgenie that caused the problem. Lots of people can definitely learn from this.
