OK, now that the PS3's security has been blown wide open and we now have CFW, is there any chance we will see a save editor (without FTP) or a CWCheat app of some sort? Right now, the only developments I've seen are lame SNES emulators, so I'm wondering how long will it take for useful apps like CWCheat to appear, if it even appears at all?

LOL. Wow, I didn't realize anyone would get butthurt over calling SNES emulators lame. Too funny.
But yeah, I don't cheat on most games certainly (and I NEVER do it online), but with some genres like RPG's, I like to skip grinding because I'm not a 12 year old kid anymore with copious amounts of time on my hands. Anyhow, I don't want to turn this thread into a stupid "cheaters never win" debate. Take that crap elsewhere; I just need information regarding potential homebrew save editing apps. And thanks for the response, flex360.

lol no one is butt hurt, just find it ironic how you can call a Snes Emulator lame, when you want something like CWCheat, no disrespect intended
To answer your question.
Of course products like CWCheat will be available, there are even trainers for games like Dead Rising 2, when such a homebrew is available, is anyone's guess, if you know the software well, perhaps you could attempt porting the PSP version.

OK, I see. I just need to be patient. Thanks, GR.

yeah, since the private keys release... we can basically trick ps3 into loading anything; sign plugins, etc. load program into ps3 to decrypt save data and upload to a usb stick with the decrypted save data, and so on. it's just a matter of time that we will get such apps... there's still alot of reserving work to do. id say wait for at least a few months...
