Getting Mods to work Online (NEED PEOPLE TO TEST)
Getting Mods to work Online (NEED PEOPLE TO TEST) –

This won't get backups or FW 3.41 online but that doesn't mean we can't get mods online (through another method), i have not tested it out yet either, but for those who are modding games and want to use them online here is a tut (My idea anyway, not 100% if it will work)
Okay many people have went out to buy another PS3 so they can have one at 3.41 still.
I can confirm that you can do data transfer from 3.41 to 3.42 without any issues.
So YOU NEED 2 PS3 FOR THIS, If you don't then don't bother
Okay here what you do
Say you wanted to do the CODMW2 hack
here what you can try to do
What you will need
PS3 One = FW 3.41
PS3 Two = FW 3.42
An ethernet Cord
and a PSJailbreak (or Groove)
Step one: PS3 One- Use PSJailbreak and use the FTP Server to get Modded patch
***Video tut of step 2 and 3 below***
Step two: Once you have done that, On PS3 Two go to Data Transfer Utility under System setting and set it so that PS3 recieves
Step Three: One PS3 One go to the same setting only this time set it to send
******NOTE THIS WILL FORMAT THE RECIEVING PS3 USE AT OWN RISK***********
once this is done, all data has been transfer (even patches) so in theory your modded patch should work.

I can test this as soon as my teensy ++ comes in

This won't work because you need to be running the exploit to start the files and it doesn't transfer the exploit...

actually there are ways to insert the files into the patch as many have confirmed this on another forum
i can also confrim data r=transfer does work between 3.41 to 3.42 but does not work 3.42 to 3.41 (requires same update)
