Great ! What did you do to resign the EBOOT ? Can you tell me how ?

i tried ebootfix, Darkbootfixer, and TrueAncestor but none would allow the game to boot.

Just had a go with bruteforce.exe and it boots.

Bruteforce.exe found in scetool_0.2.9_bruteforce.7z

DOA5 still aint booting to anything but a blackscreen.

So you are trying to fix DOA 5 as well , I too gave an effort to fix DOA 5 with the tools release . And you know that DOA 5 contains a .sdat file that need to be patched too right ? This post at ps3 h a x . n e t intrigues me though , here is the link . Just remove the spaces .

I swapped out the sdat and tried it with 3 differenly patched eboots and still the same all three eboots. boots and tells of an 1.02 update on line. Press o to continue to game without the update and get nothing but a black screen. you can still PS button to the xmb tho.
