Wow, thanks for the CP pkg.
Well, the hacking is a bit hard. Its all max value hacking, cant do any of the indepth stuff yet. Not sure what is left that i could do for FF13, im not very good at this sort of hacking either.

99 Is way too low of a number. Not much left I can search for and not spend days creating test packages and stuff.
what you do to search and editing the values ?
hex the eboot ?
Here is the combined Inf Gil\Max CP\Max HP modded version of US Final Fantasy 13 (MRTC00003) for backups only 3.41
MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service
Install the package, then create a folder called FF13GAME on your dev_hdd0. Then create the folder USRDIR inside FF13GAME, then place white_data from the backup USRDIR inside the FF13GAME/USRDIR
Final created directory should look like this /dev_hdd0/FF13GAME/USRDIR/white_data/

Anyone who makes their own PKGs has likely already got this down, but for people on 3.55 CFW and using the PKG file in this thread (PS3 EBOOT Repository for FW 3.55)...
- Unself the clean EBOOT.BIN using cygwin
- Open EBOOT.ELF in a hex editor of your choice
- Search for the text "dev_bdvd", change it to "dev_hdd0" (or whichever USB device you plan to use)
- Also change /PS3_GAME/USRDIR/ after that to /FF13GAME/USRDIR/
- Apply whatever changes (for the cheats) you want from the thread at CMP
- Create your shiny new hacked up EBOOT.BIN
- Drop it into the directory created by the PKG file in /game/, replacing the old EBOOT.BIN
Enjoy your Gil/CP/whatever without crashing at the SE splash!
Open up the eboot.elf inside IDA

Modify the assembly for each with a different number
Repackage the test eboot
Test the game, find which number shows up
Go back to the eboot in ida
Locate where the compare for that assembly code you found is and point it to the store instead
Repackage and see if your hack worked
Trying to learn to make my own .PKG. But wondering what do I need change or don't change to make the eboot work for Disc Only. I see guide, but they're only for backup not Disc.
(Havent done it, someone correct me if im wrong)

then in your param.sfo (I use the PS3 Toolbox GUI) you change game from Disc Boot Game to Disc Boot Game Patch
and finally repackage it and install it
