Final Fantasy XIII (Infinite Gil) - Only works with a XIII disc
Final Fantasy XIII (Infinite Gil) - Only works with a XIII disc –
This mod only works on a jailbroken PS3 with a XIII disc!
**Works on all versions (USA, European, Asian, etc)**
1) Download the PKG file here:
Multiupload.com - upload your files to multiple file hosting sites!
2) Put the PKG into a USB stick and install it on your PS3.
3) Insert your XIII disc.
4) Launch the Infinite Gil PKG. This will load the game with your modified EBOOT.BIN.
5) Go to a save point and then sell or buy something. Once an exchange is done, you will gain 999,999,999 Gil instantly!
Note - If you're playing a backed up XIII, you will need to use a different modified EBOOT.
Credits goes to hyper2k at codemasters-project.net (his discovery of the cheat can be found here and me for making it work with a XIII disc.)

So this works without having to back it up, cool i'll try this out later. FF13 is quite large. has anyone managed to hack the CP yet?
yes this works. It like a patch or an update. Very good work indeed.
Appreciate if you credit Hyper2k for finding this for cheat for us
I had to register just to reply to this. This worked for me. I'm on MFW 3.55 Geohot/LV2 Patching/Final Fantasy XIII (BLUS 30416). Do exactly as the instructions tell you to do and you should have your 999,999,999 GIL. Very useful mod, this will saved me ALOT of time. Thanks to whoever developed this.
Argh, sorry! I thought I already did that. I figured that the steps that I did were wrong, so I highlighted all of em and pasted them with the new ones - removing the credits. Sorry, again! Fixed.
