right after much fukin about i did it!

GT5 SAVE SUCCESSFULLY MODDED!

after playing about with it for past 2 days... with no luck!

i got hold of someone elses save (thanks to abufhad over @ nxtgen) copied it over to my ps3... didnt work save WAS locked to his ps3 id... MEH!! lol

well after playing around i got it to work! all it involved was some SIMPLE editing...

copied it over... loaded game... BANG loads trophies unlocked... loads of money... and loads of cars!

want you save modding? post your save on here and i will send u the modded save back unlocked to you psn id!

UPDATE FOR EVERYONE

ok here is easy way for you all to do own saves as my inbox is gettin swamped and im spending to much time doing it all lol need to get on with my work and try new hacks etc

download this pack HERE (MULTIPLE HOSTS LOADS OF THEM!!!) PASSWORD - GT5SAVE

get your save backed up to pc... dont matter how you do it

open my rar file

copy the 2 files into YOUR game save folder

copy the save back onto your ps3... this depends on if you using jailbreak or not... work it out been enough posts in this thread on how to do it

ok as it stands today 03/03/2011

THIS METHOD ONLY WORKS WITH THE FOLLOWING

3.XX + JAILBREAK
3.XX CFW

these must be on YOUR ps3 so sending your save to someone ELSE on 1 of these methods will NOT work!

IF you are on 3.55 OFW then install a decent (stay away from waninkoko cfw) 3.55 CFW then use this method put ya save on ps3... then go back to OFW if you want

If you are on 3.56+ then you CANT do this method period! anyone asking for money is full of shit!

GT5 must be on V1.00 or 1.02 depending on your source
so remove all game data (NOT SAVE DATA)
play game SKIP UPDATES
get save onto pc via ps3 file manager to your usb
place 2 files from first post into your save folder
copy back to ps3 via ps3 file manager from your usb
play game SKIP UPDATES
exit game
start game and apply updates
then if you did before then reinstall game data via the gt5 options

this should cover most things now

browse to HOME\000000X(X is your user ID)\GT5 ID (BCES00569 for EUR)

Even better lol. I don't have this game yet but I was going to get soon. Knowing that that the game can be modded just make's me want even more. Thanks RIPPED.

doesnt quite work like that at moment dude...

i have someone save who has got really far got loads money etc etc... his save now works on your ps3 id.... whereas before the saves were locked to each psn id....

will keep lookin into it so can just apply money... but its early stage!
