Easier way of duping cars in GT5
Easier way of duping cars in GT5 –

MODERATORS, IF THIS POST IS NOT IN THE CORRECT SECTION, PLEASE MOVE IT TO THE CORRECT LOCATOIN.
I'm sure many, if not all, of you are aware of duping cars in Gran Turismo 5 and also know of methods of doing so. But the one thing holding us back is the fact that we are only capable of sending one car per day. Well now theres a way to duplicate a car quicker. Although you can only do that car for the day, and then the next day you can do a different car. By doing this method I came up with you can get multiple X1's or whichever car you would like on your main account. So here's what you do:
Step 1: Figure out which car it is exactly that you want to choose to do this dupe glitch with.
-For me I chose the Jay Leno Tank Car.
Step 2: Insert a USB Flashdrive or External Hard Drive of some sort.
-For me I used a 500GB Seagate Portable Hard Drive.
Step 3: Create several additional PS3 User Accounts, also known as "Dummy Accounts".
-For me I created 9 of these accounts.
Step 4: Add all of the newly created accounts to your main PS3 account in which you would like to have all of the cars on.
-For me I chose a secondary main account because i have two separate main accounts.
Step 5: Copy your first accounts Gran Turismo 5 save data to your USB Flash Drive or whatever your going to use for this.
-For me this was a 500GB Seagate Portable Hard Drive.
Step 6: Go to your first account and send the car in which you wish to duplicate to one of the Dummy Accounts.
-For me this car was the Jay Leno Tank Car.
Step 7: Then get your Gran Turismo 5 save data copied back over to your PS3. It will ask you if you want to overwrite it, choose yes.
-For me it did not ask me to delete the save data because i had deleted it before copying over the old one for more guaranteed protection of doing this correctly.
Step 8: Repeat steps 6-7 with the all of the Dummy Accounts EXCEPT the last one. When you gift the car though, just gift it to your main account.
-For me i did steps 6-7 on 8 accounts and then once i got the car i gifted it to my main account. When i got to the 9th account i just sent the Jay Leno Tank Car to my main account without loading the previous save data afterwards.
Step 9: Congradulate yourself for recieving multiple duplicates of a great car.
-For me this was just a bunch of Jay Leno Tank Car's. Although i have like 20 of them so it really doesn't matter.
NOTE: I believe that this method may also work with paint chips and other items as well.

One could also get a completed GTPSP gamesave and use that to unlock a bunch of cars. But I've read somebody trying that and it didn't work (presumely since it's being done in JB mode).
Although I'm not a cheater myself. I can only unlock them fair and square

Using the psp to transfer cars only lets you use those cars in Arcade mode.

yes that's exactly why you should do it this way. You can send one car a day for each account so as many accounts you have that's how manye cars you can recieve each day, but don't include your main account.

I can confirm the PSP GT transfer not working in JB mode, of course, i can't try w/o JB mode as I am on 3.41

As of 1/26/2011:
3.60 Now Live!
PS3 80GB Non-BC >> Waninkoko 3.55 >> Kmeaw 3.55>> Sold!
Sure-fire way to prevent PSN Bans: Update to OFW!

Step 4: Add all of the newly created accounts to your main PS3 account in which you would like to have all of the cars on.

I'm pretty sure this is for GT5 1.05 with an internet connection. I've tried on GT5 1.00 and no luck. Can't select to gift car to a friend.
Need an Original EBOOT???
