I use this mod
UP0001-DEMO30443_00-0101010101010101 - MAX SOULS.pkg - Here's a fun one. Enemies don't harm you AND souls are maxed out at 999,999,999 AND they never run out. [seriously overpowered] [credit to Inaudax for the idea and where to look in IDA]
it working perfect. thankyou

Some of use own the game as well. Its legal to own back ups of are game. Last time I checked Don't wast ur time downloading it. If u have the game its faster to rip it.
To the guys that made the pgk for the disk only thank if someone would be nice and pm me the details or post the link that would be great.

Thanks again for this guy u rock. The disk only .pkg work great. I don't wanna spend the time ftp'in the 8 gig game file or rippin out my ps3 hdd hookin it up to my pc to transfer the file.
So this is a sweet alternative to that.
Cheers. =~)

Oh, god. I feel like a noob - I still couldn't manage to get my DS EBOOT working (the back-up way).
What I did was:
Decrypted the DS's EBOOT.bin via a fail0verflow tool called unself.exe.
Modified the decrypted EBOOT.elf via IDA and 012.
Used Auto Mod Tool and set the settings as follows:
Game ID : DSOO13337
Decrypted ELF/BIN File : EBOOT.elf (Decrypted - 26.9MB)
Selected TROPHY dir: NPWR00881_00
Selected PARAM.sfo : PARAM.sfo (HG, Game ID: DSOO13337, named Demon's Souls)
Selected ICON0.PNG : ICON0.png (the DS one)
Disk: hdd0
Game Folder Name: DSGAME00 (8 characters because the tool said so)
FW Version: 3.41
Then clicked Execute. No error at all, everything got signed and packaged. Installed it on the PS3. Then I FTP'd to create a folder (DSGAME00) into hdd0 and then create another new folder (usrdir) inside the DSGAME00 folder. Then extracted all of the DS files into the usrdir folder except the orginal EBOOT.bin file. The orginal EBOOT.bin file is still there (inside the backup manager GAMES folder).
Then I mounted the DS game (via the orginal EBOOT) from a backup manager to XMB, and then I launched the PKG. What did I get? It's either a black screen, HDD not enough space, or trophy installation fail. :@
What did I do that's wrong?
Omnomnom, are you sure that your EBOOT.bin is compressed? From 26mb to 8mb? This is irrelevant, anyways... because I used a different tool to encrypt/sign EBOOT.elf and it came out signed, but not compressed (still 26mb). But this time, I got a black screen after launching it.
I assume that your EBOOT.bin is 26mb because your whole package is 16mb (whereas mine is 11mb or something). I was gonna download your PKG and compare to mine to see what did I do wrong. But I can't, lol... my usb stick is 15mb LOL... not enough space. I've purchased a 2gb stick and should get it this Friday.... meh

auto tool don't work to it manually and yes it like 9gb once ur done with the eboot.
what game version are u using cuz ur game ID is wrong for US version.
Make the DSGAME00 folder install the USRDIR. Download a demo. Go into game and find which game is the demo. delete the trophy and the and the files inside usrdri. Place ur modded eboot into the usrdri place demonsoul trophe where the demo tropies where and replace all the icon and dat files with demonsouls. Don't forget to replace the modded PARAM.sfo.
U might not have to download a demo just make the files and give it a random name.
In the end u will have
hddo/game/demo
TROPDIR (ds)
USRDIR (modded eboot only)
TCON0.PNG (ds)
ICON1.PAM (ds)
PARAM.SFO (modded)
PIC1.PNG (ds)
PS3LOGO.DAT (ds)
Hope that helps.

YAY, now anyone who is too much of a pussy to make it through this game without cheating will be able to upload their fake trophies as soon as a custom firmware comes along that allows you losers to connect back up to the PSN.
And for the OP who claimed that he only made this so that he could get back the hundreds of hours he lost for whatever reason...BULLSHIT!
When I was playing this game 2 years ago my PS3 died halfway through the game. On my second play through I beat it in 24 hours.

[QUOTE=Omnomnom;683910]First of all, credit to crustybread1111 & Inaudax for explaining what offsets to mod to make this.
I DO NOT ADVOCATE CHEATING ONLINE WITH THIS, DON'T BE A ****SUCKER AND RUIN THE GAME FOR OTHERS
Now, onto business. This eboot will make it so no enemies can harm you, with the exception of the red knight and apparently one boss. To my knowledge there are no side effects, as I'm playing through it, I'm making notes of what has changed.
Enemies -
Standard enemies won't hurt you
Fire won't hurt you
Dragons won't hurt you
Falling WILL hurt you
Traps WILL hurt you
Lava WILL hurt you [just found that out the hard way]
Corpse Ball WILL hurt you
Red Phantoms WILL hurt you
Black Phantoms WILL hurt you
Miranda WILL hurt you
Old Monk WILL hurt you
Old King Doran WILL hurt you [just had my ass stomped in surprise]
Fire and enemies won't damage the environment - ie wood, crates, etc
World Tendency is NOT locked. Extensive testing done.
I forgot how many ways you can die in demon souls.
