Ok for the past couple of days i have been trying to get a dead space 2 save to work with ps3 save unlocker and have found two solutions after testing and testing here we go.

METHOD 1
1.Make dead space 2 save
2.enter ps3 blackbox
3.connect to ps3 (FTP)
4.open up whatever ftp client you use im using flash xp fyi.
5.find your save and transfer it to your desktop.
6.Now get your downloaded dead space 2 save and rename it to anything as long as you keep the .SFO do this with your original save aswell.
7.Now open up ps3 save unlocker which i provided for you.
8.make your new SFO file and name it as PARAM.SFO exactly.
9.now just dump it in the originsl place you got your save in FTP its going to prompt you so just press overwrite.
10.Load up dead space 2 and if done right you will go to singleplayer and press load game an if done right it will load and say cleared game or completed game something like that. You'll know because when your game starts go to a save station and overview your save and it will say it.
11.Reach the store and reclaim your weapons then save,if you do it to early before you get them it will overwrite it and not work.
METHOD 2
1.download hex editor
2.make dead space 2 save and FTP to computer.
3.once again find save and send it to your desktop.
4.open hex editor.
5.open downloaded Param.sfo in hex editor
6.highlight all of it and copy.
7.Now open hex editor with your original Param.sfo
8.Delete everything and paste and save.
9.Now put that Param.sfo back were you got it from and again overwrite.
10.load up dead space 2 and press load game and you should get the same effect as method 1.
BOTH THESE METHODS HAVE WORKED FOR ME PERFECTLY SO I HOPE IT WORKS FOR YOU ALL BIG THANKS TO ColdReader FOR CREATING THIS TOOL.

You don't need to do all that.
Using FTP Program browse to a saved game already created that you want to overwrite (/dev_hdd0/home/0000????/savedata). Get the saved game you downloaded from the web and upload/overwrite all files except PARAM.SFO, don't overwrite your PARAM.SFO it has your psn info in it.
That's it
