You'll pretty much always have to take off the limbs, as that's the way the game works. But the damage DONE to the limb should always be 999 for that gun.
Trust, encouragement, reward, loyalty... satisfaction. That's what I'm... you know. Trust people and they'll be true to you. Treat them greatly, and they will show themselves to be great.

1 hit kill will not work in this game.

The game mechanics are fixed where the monsters need certain limbs cut off.
As they don't have any health points/bar per say.

This doesn't seem to be working for me. I followed the steps for the patch, and renamed the original BIGFile0.viv file to BIGFile0.vivORIGINAL and replaced it with my patched one. I don't have 999 ammo on anything, or health, etc.

What options are changed in the BIGfile? For example, currently my character has the Vintage Suit on, with the Pulse Rifle, Gravity/Shockwave/wahtever gun and the Contact Beam. Are changes only made to the Plasma? Any way to get thousands/millions of credits?

How do I enable this? Also, if this helps, I have THREE bigfileX.viv files. Bigfile0, 1 and 2.

Do I need to do this with all of them?

Thanks for the info Yasuke, but what options are changed? How do I know it's taken effect, does this work with only new games, etc?

Sorry I'm just having some trouble with it.

It doesnt give you 999 ammo, It let's you collect & have loaded in your gun 999 ammo.

Your health's max is set at 100 originally, When you mod your health's the max change's to 9999. So if your health is low after you mod, It means you need to fill up the other 9899 to fill your health up full.

Its all about how much you can hold at one time, Not giving you & filling thing's up for you. Once modded, You need to fill up your gun's & health to 999-9999.

Game save modding is the only way to mod that stuff.

Just pick ammo then reload your gun. Repeat.

Has that been figured out? Is there a way to use maybe this same tutorial to change packs of ammo/cash/powernodes from the base amount to say 999? Like you hit something and it drops a pack of $100, but you mod the BIGFILE0.VIV to where the $100 actually equals $10000?

I remember that was done on Dead Rising 2, any pack of money you picked up was changed to where it would give you a million dollars! LOL!
