Just a little....
First part of a bigger project. Waiting on some artwork. I just did this one for my own system but thought you guys might like it too
Edit: 43 downloads so far in the couple hours since it's been online. Don't forget to let me know what you guys think and if I missed any of the cheat pkg files. I will take no complaints as meaning no problems

Thanks you for your work,
in fact, i may not use the .pkg for game playing (even there are great games and cheats allowed from the list) but it was great idea to include them into this structure (DP-IP) and i was wondering if you reached somes limits of amounts files/folder number (not about sizes). I experimented limits (but from classic install.pkg), trying to install one pkg with a lot of files) but was fews months ago and here your pkg structure is special.
If so, please go to the wiki to report (or here)
Thanks you for this.
There are also something you can combine, with .p3t for fews games.
If you got interest about structure for photos, music (seems to don t have been documented properly yet) and one other structure (not documented on wiki but there are) we can give a try (thanks to Sandungas previous work, it possible to find more things)

@Chanel - As far as I can tell it supports 1000 pkg files in the current setup. I'm working on some noob friendly discs that will be like an all-in-one installation disc for various firmwares. I'm waiting on some artwork. but the discs are near completion.
These new discs I'm trying to keep to CD-R media, so the only limitations I could think of for that would be the ISO-9000 file structure limits. It wouldn't take much at all to make a theme (p3t) disc. Just a good SFO editor. Should apply to photo and music installation too. You should really take a look at aldostools' PS3 apps here www.aldostools.org - Macro Recorder and Keyboard/Mouse Automation Software by Aldo Vargas. Outside of the cheat pkg files that I compiled from other sources, the entire disc was made with his SFO editor and CreatePS3 Extra. Also used PKGView to pull out the icons from the pkg files so it looked better. I did use a hex editor to give it a unique game id so it didn't overlap anything in multiMAN. Open up one of the SFX files contained with the pkg files with his SFO editor and will give you an idea of how much can be done with a little tweaking.
The beauty of the file structure is how easily it can be updated at anytime. If you want I can send you a blank template that you can check out with some quick instructions. Just drop me a message and I'll get you a copy of the template and a quick guide

Thanks you for the message,
About ISO stuff, isn t ISO 9660 Joliet for ps3? (i didn t think about it untill you mention, i was more thinking about artificial limits from ps3 but no importance at that point)
About the aldo tool stuffs, problem is that person used the complete work of Sandungas (member here), compile it and put his name on top and "forget" to mention Sandungas.
Sandungas did nothing less than everything here, because infos on bluerays structure before him: 0.
You can check the wiki history file and the release date of this aldo tool, one day after.
So guess what, how you will react if things like this happens to your work? and because of that , other file structure is still missing on wiki.
But more important is what you did here, it s really clean and good idea.
About template and instructions for this structure, it s fine for me but thanks you.
I didn t think about .pup, here we are talking about something i didn t even think. But don t make it public untill you got something ready to be release, it can be nice structure for a lot of people.
Edit: to don t sound just complaining and bringing drama where it s not necessary,
Everyone feeling a little curious about ps3, should look at your video because it s a really nice idea what you did. thanks you for this.

I'm not trying to take anything away from Sandungas. I was just saying the tools make it easy to use and make quick changes to the disc structure to suit what you're trying to do. In the end it's gonna be up to other people how it's put to use. Hopefully this disc was just the first of many.
It doesn't really bother me if somebody takes part of my work and runs with it. I just see it as sharing information. It really doesn't bother me if they claim it as their own as long as they add something to it.
As of right now, I've got 4 more in the works and ideas for 2 or 3 more. Hopefully as these discs come out I can get suggestions about how to put them to use. As I go I'll try my best to document anything new I'm able to come up with as well as how other people can get involved if they have ideas.
The way I see it, I'm not a coder just like many people here aren't. Granted, I can read and understand most of it which some people might not be able to, but there's still a lot that can be done by non-coders if people just take the time to look and see what they can do. Personally hoping that some people look at this stuff and follow the lead.

More i read your posts, more i like. I think we share similars opinions.
(to end up the thing about runner and Sandungas: Sandungas never complain about it (he should have), but that tool without giving proper credit...so yeah great end user got GUI for that but as i said, guess what now: other structure are not documented (edit: or not completed as photos or music ). If that runner was a little bit less about fame, things were able to be much greater.
So at the end i call it bad idea ( to have GUI for that, ok why not but t wasn t release properly)
You got also structures with video and theme as nice structure. One or two thing form wiki are not correct but they work (the tool from the runner, i don t know)
I m thinking about structures for .p3t theme but a bit different than the one on the wiki, need to test.
Thanks you again and sorry to hi jack your thread or sounds procedural (dont paid attention) , and continue the good work for everyone thanks you.

I think that once people look at this kind of thing, then the rest of the wiki on the subject will be filled in. I know what you're saying about what happened after the apps were released without giving credit. I know that the work on the wiki took hundreds of hours to put together and I'd probably have gotten pissed and stopped messing with it if I didn't even get a little recognition if I was in Sandungas' position.
I really do like the idea of the p3t disc. The problem I have with that is all the themes I have on my own personal system are ones you had to buy and can't be given away freely/legally. It's been a while since I looked at some of the free theme sites. I'll have to check them out to see if I can find some good ones.
What were you thinking for the video part? Like promos, video walkthroughs, or what?
Don't worry about hijacking the thread. you're always welcome here. It's always nice talking to someone who knows what they're talking about
