ya sorry about the slowness on PKG eboot hack ... but i do have to say that if the Usercheat divice that just got cracked up ends up with a ENcrypter/decrypter to add codes to the DB then ull see things pop back up :P QUickly

So how do I remove this patch from Alice Madness Returns without removing my DLC

right now you have to reinstall the duplex dlc pkg. One of these days when I'm bored I'll repackage just what you need from the DLC pkg to overwrite the cheat

Damn.... Looks like I'll have to reobtain the file... Any way to download the packages from the PSN using my PC my PSN account was locked out for a week...... And Id rather not download an illegal PKG on this connection.... tried the PS infinity app.... it worked for the dresses and weapons pack but it errors out on the larger one. the American Mcgees alice.


Well as it so happens this DLC is some of the few items I'm able to Download on the PSN. In fact getting around the 1 week lock was pretty easy too. Just changed my email associated with the account. I'm now installing the items and backing them up. BTW is there any files I should back up besides the game data folder?

I'm looking at the contents of both the Alice Madness Returns cheat pkg and the contents of Duplex's DLC and fix pkg. The files don't overwrite each other. The Duplex fix pkg doesn't contain an eboot so you should be able to replace the one in the install directory with the one from the working/patched disc backup. You'll need to copy these files from the working Alice backup to the install directory

/USRDIR/Alice1/bin/cgame.ppu.sprx
/USRDIR/Alice1/bin/fgame.ppu.sprx

It'll probably be a long time before I get around to building a pkg, but at least this is an easy enough workaround for now
