Babel still doesn't work, X and O are still inverted and there's a small amount of in game text that is still in Japanese (e.g. save game names/description and the names of songs on the Jukebox in the bar) ,but none of this is game breaking. I'm half way through the game now with this fix and it works perfect so far using the US release as a base ,

Bonus stages after you beat the game (I think you unlock them by beating Rapunzel stages/getting highscores in story stages). Since there's no storyline or anything in the Babel stages, someone who's beaten the game should unpatch their game, see if it still loads, and then see if the Babel stages will load.

Hey guys...I know this project sort of died, but with the release of the True Blue dongle, it seems that there is now a US version of Catherine playable on CFW (the Paradiso release)

So my question is: what if one now tried to replace the english audio package (in the Paradiso release) with the japanese one and run Catherine using TB?

and then followed the track to this site.

Too bad seeing all these posts from people who want everything for nothing and who are able to complain after all this. I can still be surprised with the sheer stupidity of some people sometimes. Maybe it was not the right place for this thread, being able to delete all this crap would probably have been better.

Anyway thanks again, you gave the ability to test this game to those who didn't want to upgrade and who didn't want to pay true blue for it, and it's just excellent !
Too bad for me I missed the latest update, but I am still happy with what I have !

Now that we can play the US version of Catherine on 3.55, undubbing this is relatively simple. You need to take PS3_GAME\USRDIR\Sound.cpk and the .pam files from PS3_GAME\USRDIR\movie from your Japanese copy and place them in the same location in the american one.

I only played up to the first Confessional but everything works fine outside of the lipsync in the in-engine scenes which i think they re-did for the US release.
