Yup I'm reading this thread. If a translation were to happen the easiest way would be to have the files presented in plain text documents where we could just translate underneath the original Japanese text. After that it'd be a simple copy and paste to whomever is reinserting the translated text

As a lot of other people in this thread I'm just a cheering fan with now knowledge in either japanese or game modding, so I can't contribute much, and I know translating and modding a game for other people (and for free!) is quite a hazzle, but I still hope someone will make the effort!
i tought it was subtitled.. look at this photos
That's probably from the EU/US version coming out in July. We're afraid it'll contain the 3.60 encryption and therefore hope someone can translate the JAP one which works on 3.41-3.55.
if this is true wath will we do???

It's just...to my knowledge, a PS3 undub has never been done before.
The US demo does have 3.55 keys and is playable maybe the game is.
ok the demo is out and have 3.55 keys so what?? can anyone verify how it is the structure of the demo son it can be usefull to transalte the full jpn version of the game?? i mean codes, files or system symbols used in the demo so maybe allow translate the rest of the full game ...
If the final game is 3.55, then maybe it'll be easiest to just transfer the Japanese audio files over. Hopefully somebody is still up for doing an undub.
EDIT: Out of curiosity, what hex editor do you guys use?
