**UPDATED** - Beyond Two Souls Mod + Debug/Cheat Menus + Skip Data Install- Need Testers –
OK, so I was playing around with the files of Beyond Two Souls thanks to a tip from a friend. I'm using the US version that got leaked by IMARS. Anyway, I enabled the Special Edition, enabled a Debug Menu and a Cheat Menu. Special Edition can be ID'd easily on the title screen under the DLC section under Bonus. It's supposed to give you additional gameplay too, but I haven't really played the game yet.
The Debug Menu is unlocked. You press L3 in game to bring it up and use L1/R1 and the directional pad to navigate. I can't figure out how to launch the cheat menu, but it is unlocked. I'm a little confused about it because there's a cheat mode option in the debug menu. It's set for a True/False value. I'm not sure what it does
Basically I need somebody that's playing the game to try on their end to bring up the cheat menu. I know it's there - just can't find it. Maybe it's not accessible at the very beginning of the game like where I am.
Installation is simple. Delete your installed game data from the game data menu. Make a backup of the original runtime.sdat found in the USRDIR of your game, and replace with this one. Load the game and let the data install run again.
**UPDATE** - I was able to kill the data install. It saves you 2500 megs of space on your internal. Game loads and plays fine.

Testing it now installing game data atm
It works able to see the debug menu
Although im guessing advance experiments comes later in the game then?
Because i dont have access to it right now
I've played for a little bit now and I'm not sure if the Special Edition stuff is unlocked properly. It adds a menu option to the title screen but it's all greyed out. Maybe it was an actual download and not just an unlock. Also the cheat mode option in the debug menu breaks the game. Any time you have to hold X the story doesn't progress when you let go. It happened in 2 different locations. I had to quit and restart with cheat mode off to continue playing. I'm not even sure what cheat mode did so no big deal. Maybe it comes into play later in the game, but I made it to the party scene where they lock her in the closet.

I already played a bit although havent seen anything of the special ed yet only time will tell if its joint into the story or it separate
havent messed around with the debug options was more interested to see if theres more content or not
i ll post again later when i played more
Another thing that occurs to me is since the game isn't officially released yet there may be a game update that hasn't been released yet that might contain some needed files
I could really use someone that's beaten the story mode to check this. I know it's still early for that, but I know there's some die hard gamers out there that will finish this game in a day or two.
I've already played a good amount, i deleted the game data and option before i tried this

so i dont think its on but i ll keep playing and i'll see
I posted a new version. This one is the same as before, but it now lets you skip the data install altogether. It'll save you 2500+ megs of internal hard drive space. I just loaded the game to check, but if you're playing it let me know if it causes any issues in game please

Just finished the game didnt encounter the 30 min additional scene
Although the no data install seems to work fine
What do you mean by additional content ? i never encountered it
Thanks for checking guys. Well, Debug Menu and no data install are still nice addtiions. I'm not entirely convinced that the Special Edition content won't show on the first game update. The game isn't officially released yet so I'm hoping that on the 8th we get a game update and the additional gameplay will show up then. It is unlocked but if the content isn't there yet not much can be done at the moment
That's the only problem with doing these things before official release date. I may have gotten a little ahead of myself
