Very nice to see someone willing to make amends when a mistake occurs. This is definitely a GOOD company to do business with from the looks of things.....i may even reconsider and buy one now.
Im a lazy person and have yet to go get a MCU, let alone when i would actually program it or use it. So with confidence restored in the P3Free, i might just go with them. :)
Its normal to make a mistake when your product is in demand and your trying to meet those demands in a short time period. Big name brand companies have it happen all the time, but they tend to label their mistakes as "defective" and have return policies for consumer satifaction.
This is exactly what Patrick is doing here and having good customer relations help build a good reputation. :).

Its nice to see one of these companies standing behind their product. Any of the other companies who make these things would probably just say youre SOL and youll have to pay for a new one, but these guys are fixing the problem with their own money. Ill be sure to recommend anyone whos buying a ps3 jailbreak device to buy from you now :D
how can you tell if you got one of the original batch that didnt include the update feature, just that ive got a dhl tracking code for my order and aint sure if i will get a new one sent also????

Seems like an endorsement of someone who purposely mislead people with dodgy advertising who is now supposedly correcting the 'error'.
Just because they're now remedying the problem doesn't make it cool at all. This site sold out?

Well that is YOUR opinion and everyone is entitled to an opinion. :rolleyes: Its not like its just 1 guy doing all the work on P3Free, theres a Team behind it. If 1 team member makes a mistake, it is reflected on the whole Team. Everyone is entitled to make a mistake.
Nobody likes it when a mistake is made, especially when they dont understand the reasons why the mistake was made. Ok, so they made a mistake and offered an excellent solution, why is that still a problem for you?
It wasn't an ''oops mistake' it was intentional deceit. To stand by such practices because they're now rectifying the problem doesn't rule out that it was still intentionally advertise in a deceiving way.
I'm guessing the reason it has it's own section while other clones don't is because they paid for it. The reason that all mods and admins seem to think it's a ok is they don't want to be too harsh towards an endorse?
Anyway... Glad it's being resolved for those who initially got ripped.
As i said before, its your opinion that they did it 'intentionally', but i dont see it that way. We are concerned with what the customers/members here feel about it and so far they are satisfied, so i just dont understand your hostility towards a company doing the right thing and your not even a customer of theirs. :crazy:
I dont get into 'politics', i speak my mind and i dont care who likes my comments or not. I have nothing to gain or lose in what i say about something. I first was skeptical too, until i seen they were willing to resolve the issue. You can read thru my posts and see for yourself . ;)
That makes no sense......if they get what they paid for in the end, then how could they be 'initially ripped'?
