You need to have the device everytime you power on the console.
You also need to disconnect the power completely from the PS3 after every use...

but next time when you re-power on your ps3 again, you need this device to boot also.

Any info about the used controller or how big the Flash is ?
And does the PSGroove code need some changes or does the inlcuded Makefile perfectly fit for this device?
